Video Call Troubleshooting Tips
DemoHop video calls require that you browser is running smoothly. If you encounter problems with your live demo video calls, here are a few things to try.
Tip: Chrome and Edge tend to have the best video call capabilities
- Reload your browser.
Try Incognito or Private mode.
Extensions and ad blockers can interfere with camera, microphone and video player settings.
Quit your browser. Fully quit and restart the browser.
If you have lots of tabs open the can consume significant memory.
- Turn off VPN
Plug-in your computer if you have a low battery.
Browsers, especially Chrome, have low power modes that silently slow or reset tabs.
- Try another browser, Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox all support video calling.
- Reboot. It's unusual to need to reboot your computer. But sometimes it's the fastest way to fix the problem without having to troubleshoot.
